-Nevada falls to 7-8 overall and 0-4 in Mountain West play after dropping a 72-70 overtime decision to San José State Wednesday night.

-This marked the Wolf Pack’s first overtime game of the season and first since it lost on the road at Air Force in OT in January of 2019

-Senior Marguerite Effa set career highs in points (31) and rebounds (15), becoming Nevada’s first 30-point scorer since Terae Briggs scored 30 at Utah State on Jan. 2, 2019

-Junior Jacqulynn Nakai also established a new career high with 12 points. She tied her career high of three made 3-pointers.

-Freshman Dom Phillips dished out six assists in the game, which ties the most by a Nevada player this season.

-Freshman Alyssa Jimenez fell one rebound shy of posting the first double digit rebound game of her career.

-Nevada held the Spartans, who average nine 3-pointers per game, to just three makes from beyond the arc.
