Verizon cellphone customers can call 911 again in Sparks after an earlier technical issue has been resolved.
Earlier, Sparks Police warned that there was a known issue with Verizon cellphones contacting the 911 network in Sparks.
Reno Police say the issue, which has not been identified, is now fixed.Â
Reno Police and Washoe County Sheriff's Office dispatch centers were not affected by the outage.
