Forward progress has been stopped on a trio of wildfires being called the Happy Incident in El Dorado County, with evacuations being downgraded to warnings.
The three fires have so far consumed around 10 acres, according to a post from CAL FIRE Amador-El Dorado Unit on Facebook.
Fire crews have been working with air support to battle the blazes.
The fires are burning in the area of Mt. Aukum Road and Happy Valley Cutoff Road.
Evacuation orders had been in place near Oak Leaf Circle and along Mt. Aukum Road between Somerset Loop and Happy Valley Cutoff Road, the El Dorado County Sheriff's Office said.
People are advised to remain ready to leave again should conditions worsen.
