Today, Sunday November 7th is the first day where children between the ages of 5 and 11 years old can receive the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 pediatric vaccine at a CVS Pharmacy.
CVS Health announced that 1,700 locations across the U.S. are now scheduling appointments to administer the kids COVID vaccine.
34 of those locations are here in Nevada but as of now, the only CVS Pharmacy offering the kids COVID vaccine near Reno is in Carson City. That one is located off of Winnie Lane and North Carson Street.
People are encouraged to schedule all appointments beforehand using CVS's online scheduling tool, as walk-ins will not be available. After entering the patient's date of birth, the tool will show the most accurate information regarding which location nearest you is offering the Pfizer-BioNTech pediatric vaccine.
