A magnitude 3.0 earthquake shook part of northern Nevada Friday night, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

Its epicenter was a little more than four miles east northeast of Galena High School, east of Veterans Parkway, and north of the Virginia City Highlands, the Nevada Seismological Laboratory reports.

A magnitude 3.3 earthquake struck in roughly the same area on Tuesday.

The quake hit just before 10:30 p.m.

There are no reports of any injuries or damage at this time.
