The first ever Silver State Women in Fire, Female Firefighter Training Day was held on Saturday.
11 agencies came together to hold the training, which took place at a fire station in Carson City.
The event's goal was to highlight the role women play in the fire service and encourage more women to consider firefighting as a career.
It featured hands-on training exercises and real-life scenario simulations.
There was also a Q&A session with current and retired female firefighters, as well as plenty of networking opportunities.
