JULY 8 UPDATE:
Crews made progress on the 3-1 Pit Fire near Little Valley overnight.
Firefighters on the ground held the fire inside its existing perimeter, while helicopters provided air support through the night, according to a post from CAL FIRE Lassen Modoc Unit on Facebook.
Crews are patrolling for hot spots today while working toward full containment of the fire.

Evacuation orders have been modified to warnings in Lassen County amid a wildfire burning near the Little Valley community west of Dixie.
The fire has been dubbed the 3-1 Pit Fire.
The latest numbers from Cal Fire suggest it's burned more than 1,055 acres and is still at five percent containment.
People in the area are asked to be ready in case evacuation orders are put in place again.
