Katie Histing is a Reno native that is selling thousands of dollars worth of stickers after her business, "Katie's Collective" went viral on social media.

She has always had a dream of sharing her art with others, but now it is beginning to transform into something that she could have never imagined.

"I started my little business, Katie's Collective, when my cancer came back for the first time in 2021, and I would've never imagined that it would've grown this much or that I've made this many sales now," said Katie Histing, Founder of Katie's Collective.

Histing has been fighting cancer for over five years.

The main message through her art is sharing awareness about childhood cancer, and the difficulties that come with it.

That message caught the eye of a popular online foundation that wanted to help share her story.

"Immediately me and the dream team we looked at each other and we were like, we need to go to Reno and buy some stickers. You never know what is going to happen, you know all we do is try. So, we showed up, we talked to her, and we made a little video, and we uploaded it," said Charlie Rocket, founder of the Dream Machine Foundation.

Katie's business has gotten over $25,000 in sales since that video was uploaded on Sunday.

That money will go towards her medical and living expenses.

On Sunday, one man named John Chiorando bought $10,000 worth of stickers with the help of the company Once Upon a Coconut.

Katie and her mother added that they are blown away at the support they have received.

Along with selling stickers, Katie's Collective also sells hats, mugs and other items.
