A billboard has been erected in Las Vegas looking for a ‘genuine psychic’. The sign which is located on East Tropicana Ave reads ‘Psychic wanted, you know where to apply, but doesn’t provide any additional information as to who should be contacted or where to ‘apply’.
Steve Baxter from signage company Mandoemedia.com says “We were contacted by an individual to place this advertisement seeking a psychic. Initially, we thought it was a joke, but the individual explained that they were deeply serious and wanted to find a genuine psychic."Â
"It wasn’t made clear exactly why they were in need of a psychic, maybe they had been swindled by a fake psychic in the past, or perhaps they want clarity on their future, we don’t know, but we are seriously invested in this experiment and it would be incredible if it actually works."
The billboard reads ‘Psychic wanted, you know where to apply’ in large white text in front of a dark background, and is displayed next to a red triangle.Â
It was first displayed on the 17th October and is located on East Tropicana, just a few yards from the MGM.Â
Previously the billboard appeared in Manchester, England but with a different symbol. It seems the person behind the billboard has now chosen Vegas in his hunt for the psychic, perhaps because of the long history of Vegas and the psychic community.Â
