NV Energy reports that 2,860+ customers are without power in Lyon County.Â
The biggest outage are affecting areas that include residents in the 89043 and 89408 zip codes.
NV Energy says there are three outages within the affected ZIP codes, with the first outage starting just after 11:00 a.m. on Monday and the second and third beginning shortly after noon. Although the cause for two of the outages is unknown, the majority of residents affected are related to a downed pole or power line.Â
Crews are working to get the power back on, but the time for restoration is unknown at this time.Â
