Police were called to a Sparks neighborhood early Monday after reports of shots being fired, a response that ended with officers finding evidence but no one hurt.
Sparks Police were dispatched around 6:59 a.m. after gunfire was reported in the area of Dearborn Drive and Elk Falls Way.
Officers checked the area and found no injured people, police said.
During the search, officers located spent cartridge casings nearby at Alamere Falls Way and Rolling Meadows Drive.
Police said a car had some involvement in the incident and are asking for help identifying the car and the driver.
There were no reported victims, and investigators said no additional details were available as the case remained active.
