Desert Skies Middle School was briefly secured on Wednesday due to a disruptive student.
In a call to families, Desert Skies Principal Teresa Quintana said student movement on campus was restricted after a student became disruptive as school police and staff dealt with their behavior.
The disruptive student was removed from the school and the secured campus was lifted within minutes according to Quintana.
Desert Skies Middle School staff are working with School Police on their investigation into the incident.
