Discovery Museum Special Projects and Extended Hours for Winter Break

The Discovery Museum has joined Blue Star Museums, a national program offering free admission to active-duty U.S. military personnel and their families.

The program officially begins on Armed Forces Day, Saturday, May 16, and runs through Labor Day.

Free admission is available to those currently serving in the U.S. Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Space Force and Coast Guard, as well as members of the Reserves, National Guard, U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps and NOAA Commissioned Corps, plus up to five family members per household.

To receive complimentary admission, you must present one of the following: a Geneva Convention common access card, or CAC; a DD Form 1173 dependent ID card; a DD Form 1173-1 ID card; or the Next Generation Uniformed Services Real ID card.
