A person was found dead after a house fire in Sparks.
The initial call came in just after 11:30 a.m. Thursday after someone in the area reported smelling smoke.
According to officials, the fire was quickly knocked down, and crews found the person inside. Their identity has not been released.
The cause of the fire and manner of death remain under investigation.
