A jury has convicted a man of sexual assault and second degree kidnapping among other charges.
47-year-old Terrell Hawkins was also found guilty of coercion with physical force or immediate threat of physical force, false imprisonment, and possession of a controlled substance.
Authorities say last October police found Hawkins along with the 30-year-old victim in a car saying that she could not leave until she owed him sex for drugs he previously gave her. That's when prosecutors say he sexually assaulted her driving her around town telling her he was going to take her to Las Vegas where he was going to make her a prostitute for him. Authorities say officers also found drugs in the car.
Hawkins is scheduled to be sentenced in January.
