The Food Bank of Northern Nevada is offering free meals for kids ages 2-18 through the Kids Cafe program.

The meals are provided during after school hours, and also during school breaks.

Meals are free for all children in the appropriate age range, and the kids do not have to be part of any program to participate; the meals must be eaten on site.

Fall break meal sites have been established, and will operate on weekdays from October 7 - 11 at the following locations:

  • Evelyn Mount North East Community Center
    1301 Valley Road, Reno
    Breakfast: 8:30 - 9:00 a.m., Lunch: 12:00 - 12:30 p.m., Weekdays
  • North Valleys Library
    1075 North Hills Boulevard, Reno
    Lunch: 11:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., Weekdays
  • Sparks Library
    1125 12th Street, Sparks
    Lunch: 12:15 - 12:45 p.m., Weekdays
  • Downtown Reno Library
    301 S. Center Street, Reno
    Lunch: 11:00 - 11:30 a.m., Weekdays

Kids Cafe is just one of several programs offered by the Food Bank of Northern Nevada to help families with their food needs.
