A group of locals are asking for your help providing a little warmth to neighborhood seniors this Valentine's Day.
The group is trying to collect 1,100 cards for Meals on Wheels by February 4, and 2,400 more cards by February 12 so that they can get started on sorting and delivering by Valentine's Day.
Local schools and parents in the community are being sought out to partner with for this project, as well.
Anyone with cards for the project can drop them off at Boulevard Pizza at 1076 Rock Boulevard in Sparks by February 4.
The group says they are looking for quality, not quantity - and they request that cards are at least 5" by 5" so that the seniors that receive the cards can view and read them easily.
Those who are looking to participate are encouraged to fill out this Google Form online.
