A California man fell to his death from the 20th floor of Harvey's Lake Tahoe & Casino on Saturday, February 8th. 

The fatal fall occurred around 2:46 p.m. near the Casino valet entrance in Stateline, according to the Douglas County Sheriff's Office. 

Deputies responding to a 911 call say the victim, identified as 31-year-old Daniel Tovar from Pomona, California, had suffered fatal injuries as a result of his fall and was pronounced dead on the scene at around 2:50 p.m.

Deputies say that Tovar had arrived in Stateline on February 8 via an Amtrak bus from Los Angeles.Â
