The Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash on U.S. 50 in the area of Gummow Drive in Fallon.
According to a release from NHP. Troopers responded to a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian just before 6 p.m.
The pedestrian has been confirmed deceased by medical personnel.
The involved vehicle has remained on scene, and the driver is cooperating with investigators.
Westbound U.S. 50Â was closed between Bottom Road and Gummow Drive, but has since reopened.
