The NTSB has released its preliminary report on a deadly experimental plane crash at Minden-Tahoe Airport last month.Â
The NTSB says the experimental amateur-built Lockwood Air Cam airplane crashed just after 8:15 a.m. on August 20.Â
In its report, the NTSB cites an airport staff member that saw the plane take off and level off three different times - two times the right wing dropped - then finally the plane hit the ground.
The pilot died on scene while the passenger was taken to Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno with serious injuries.Â
