The Reno Police Department is investigating after a car hit a pedestrian near the intersection of Silver Lake Road and Mariner Cove Drive.
Reno Police, Reno Fire, and REMSA responded to the area around 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
The victim was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The Reno Police Department M.A.I.T. (Major Accident Investigation Team) is handling the investigation. The agency says speed and impairment do not appear to be factors in the crash.
