The City of Reno is inviting people to join in a series of walks with park rangers to explore the local outdoors.
The “Walk with Us” series is designed to include people with limited mobility, people living with dementia and their care partners, and all members of the community, according to a release from the City of Reno.
The series will happen throughout the year, with park rangers guiding attendees through the changing seasons.
Each walk will happen on a Wednesday at 11 a.m. and will last around an hour.
They will begin at the James D. Hoff Peace Officers Memorial at Idlewild Park.
People are encouraged to bring water, wear a hat, closed-toed shoes, and weather-conscious clothing.
All walks are weather permitting.
