Reno Police are looking for a suspect involved in a violent aggravated battery that happened in May in downtown Reno.
It happened on May 26 around 11:45 p.m. near the intersection of West Street and First Street, according to a post on Facebook from the RPD.
The suspect, a white man wearing a black long-sleeved shirt, blue jeans, and white tennis shoes, allegedly battered a person by hitting them from behind without warning, causing them to fall.
When the victim was on the ground, the suspect allegedly kicked the victim in the head before fleeing the area.
The victim was hospitalized after suffering serious head injuries.
Investigators think two people might be associated with the suspect. One was wearing a black hat and a white shirt, and the other was wearing a black hat and a black pullover.
All three were seen fleeing northbound from the scene immediately after the attack.
The battery happened in a busy area and was witnessed by several people. Investigators think additional witnesses or surveillance footage may help identify those involved.
