Washoe County’s elderly and their caregivers will have the opportunity to access a wide range of services at Senior Fest 2025.

The event, free to the public, is set for Tuesday, Sept. 2, at the Reno Town Mall located at 4001 S. Virginia Street and runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Sponsored by the Washoe County Human Services Agency’s Senior Services Division, Senior Fest brings together more than 60 businesses and organizations focused on promoting healthy aging and wellness.

Attendees can take part in health screenings, receive higher-dose senior flu shots, and get COVID, pneumonia, RSV, and shingles vaccinations.

The event will also provide information on Medicare Advantage, VA benefits, health insurance counseling, assisted and independent living, and local parks and recreation programs.

Washoe County Senior Services will offer information on Homemaker, Nutrition, Representative Payee, Group Home, and Case Management Services, alongside resources from the State of Nevada Aging and Disability Services Division.

Parking for the event is available at the mall and the nearby Atlantis Resort lot.

Public transportation is accessible via RTC Route 1 S. Virginia Street and Route 6, Peckham Lane.
