People were temporarily evacuated from Boomtown Casino Resort on Friday night after smoke was seen coming from an air vent.
When firefighters arrived on scene, they determined the smoke was coming from an HVAC unit on the roof, according to a spokesperson with Truckee Meadows Fire & Rescue.
Security turned off the HVAC unit to stop the smoke.
There were no injuries reported in the incident, and people were allowed to go back inside.
Multiple agencies responded to the scene, including TMFR and the Reno Fire Department.
