NOVEMBER 14 UPDATE:

The University of Nevada, Reno has updated its tailgating policy ahead of Saturday's Wolf Pack football game.

Stages will now be allowed if they're not taller than three feet and are set up before 8 a.m. for inspection.

One central DJ will be allowed with multiple speakers, but the music will end at kickoff.

And the tailgate area must be fully cleaned by 8 p.m. Sunday.

Box trucks, semi-trucks, and flatbeds remained banned to manage traffic and ensure emergency access.

The University of Nevada, Reno, has sent out a letter reminding people of its tailgating policy, and promising to step up enforcement.

The letter reinforces policy from the Intercollegiate Athletics Football Game Day Guide, according to a release from the University.

The letter lays out vehicles and equipment that will be banned from tailgate parking areas.

Prohibited vehicles include box trucks, semi trucks, and flatbeds.

Professional DJ stages and equipment are also not allowed, including large speaker setups and elevated platforms designed for performance.

The University says these restrictions are needed to manage vehicle and pedestrian traffic flow and ensure emergency access.

The restrictions will be enforced by University Police starting on November 15 and will be clearly communicated with signage near all entrance points on game day.
