Two gunmen have shot dead at least 11 people during a Jewish holiday celebration at Sydney’s Bondi Beach. Australian authorities say one gunman was fatally shot by police and the second was arrested and is in critical condition. At least 29 people were wounded, including two police officers. The massacre followed a wave of antisemitic attacks in Australia, although authorities didn't link them to this shooting. Prime Minister Anthony Albanese called it “an act of evil, antisemitism, terrorism.” The attack targeted a Jewish celebration called Chanukah by the Sea, marking the start of Hanukkah.
