Israel’s military has announced its first criminal investigations into troop conduct in the Gaza war. The focus is on the killings of 5-year-old Hind Rajab and her family trapped in a vehicle, and of 15 Palestinian paramedics. The military says it will not investigate three other attacks that killed aid workers with World Central Kitchen and Doctors Without Borders. The announcement follows reviews of 150 incidents. The military's statement does not mention many other high-profile killings that Israel has pledged to investigate during the war, such as a hospital strike that killed five journalists including one who freelanced for The Associated Press.
