Russia has announced the closure of German cultural centers in the country. Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said Thursday the move is a response to Germany's accusations of Russian involvement in an attempted attack at Leipzig/Halle Airport and its punitive measures. Lavrov also stated that the Russian Consulate in Bonn and the Russian House in Berlin will be closed. Western officials have accused Russia of sabotage and disruption to undermine support for Ukraine, which Russia denies. The EU is considering further sanctions against Russia. Meanwhile, Denmark is warning of potential Russian sabotage against its defense industry.
