Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s unexpected embrace of artificial intelligence has rankled some of his allies in the “Make America Healthy Again” movement. It's also raised objections from AI experts who say he misunderstands the technology. At a MAHA Summit last week, Kennedy said AI could free Americans from “medical tyranny” by allowing them to fact check their physicians and other experts. Kennedy has built a national movement among Americans who distrust conventional medical treatments along with big corporations. But some MAHA voices feel Kennedy and other Trump administration officials have become too cozy with corporate interests, including those of AI developers.
