Trump

President Donald Trump is campaigning in Nebraska on Monday alongside GOP Sen. Pete Ricketts. Trump is visiting Grand Island, a conservative area, as part of what he says is a 32-day campaign blitz. Ricketts is running for his first full six-year term. He's facing an unexpectedly competitive race with independent candidate Dan Osborn, who is backed by national Democrats. Rural voters are frustrated with high costs for fuel and groceries — and in Nebraska, ranchers are angry about Trump's plan to try to lower beef prices by allowing more imports. Ricketts says he'd like the White House to reconsider the policy.
