President Donald Trump is campaigning in Nebraska on Monday alongside GOP Sen. Pete Ricketts, part of what he says is a 32-day campaign blitz. In Grand Island, a conservative area, Trump signed an executive order easing limits on the tax-free use of red dye diesel fuel, something he said would lead prices overall to plummet. Ricketts is running for his first full six-year term. He's facing an unexpectedly competitive race with independent candidate Dan Osborn, who is backed by national Democrats. Rural voters are frustrated with high costs for fuel and groceries — and in Nebraska, ranchers are angry about Trump's plan to try to lower beef prices by allowing more imports. Ricketts says he'd like the White House to reconsider the policy.
