At least four people died after the first hurricane of the Atlantic season roared onto the Florida Panhandle and carved a path into the Southeast. Isaias left behind a trail of damaged roofs and downed power lines along the Gulf Coast. The storm continues to bring heavy rain and the threat of flash floods across the region. Isaias came ashore as a Category 2 hurricane on Friday near Destin, Florida. Hurricane-force winds tore the roofs off a Pensacola hotel. And the city's mayor says the airport “took some damage.” Two people died when trees fell onto homes in Florida and Alabama.
