Nevada Athletics and Pack Provisions are hosting an on-campus food drive during football, women’s basketball, men's basketball, and volleyball contests.
Donors will receive discounted admission at the ticket office window and is valid for walk-up tickets only. All donations will directly benefit Pack Provisions and students on campus.
Ticket discounts and games at which the on-campus food drive will be hosted are below:
Men's Basketball
Nov. 1 vs. Stanislaus State (Exhibition) – 7 p.m.
$5 ticket with item to donate
Women's Basketball
Nov. 9 vs. Sacramento State – 6:30 p.m.
$3 ticket with item to donate
Volleyball
Nov. 16 vs. Boise State - 6 p.m.
$3 ticket with item to donate
Football
Nov. 25 vs. Wyoming - 6 p.m.
$10 ticket with item to donate
Pack Provisions is the on-campus food pantry that serves the University of Nevada community. The free resource can be accessed by students, staff, and faculty. It's located inside the Center for Student Engagement, which is on the third floor of the Joe Crowley Student Union.
“Last academic year ASUN Pack Provisions had close to 9,000 visits, and since the beginning of the fall semester, nearly 2,000 students have turned to the University Food Pantry to help address food insecurity," said Center for Student Engagement Outreach Coordinator Hanin Abboud Rodriguez. "We are very excited and grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with Wolf Pack Athletics to address campus food insecurity. Pack Provisions strives to address students' challenges to achieve academic success.”
