Lane closures and delays affected traffic on U.S. 50 this morning after a single-engine plane made a landing on the highway.
According to a post from the Nevada State Police, the landing happened around 8:00 a.m. on Sunday morning, August 3rd.
Traffic was affected on U.S. 50 around Lyon County mile marker 23, near Stagecoach while authorities cleared the scene.
Currently, no information has been provided on why the plane had to make the landing.
No injuries were reported.
