I have been a citizen advocate for families and taxpayers at the Nevada Legislature every session since I was 19. The Lt. Governor serves as president of the Nevada State Senate. I know the process well. I will represent the citizens of Nevada so they will have a voice in state government.

WHAT IS YOUR TOP PRIORITY IF ELECTED?

Excessive government spending is causing the prices of housing, food, health care and all necessities to increase. Families are struggling to survive economically. Families pay 60% of their income in federal, state, local and hidden taxes. We must lower taxes to help families economically.

IN JUST A FEW SENTENCES: WHAT DO YOU BELIEVE IS THE BIGGEST PROBLEM FACING NEVADA, AND HOW WOULD YOU FIX IT?

Affordability and constantly increasing prices are making it difficult for Nevada families to survive. No easy solutions are available, but I would advocate for lower taxes, increased economic development for better jobs, and individual communities and individuals helping one another. Government caused the problem. Less government, not more, will help to solve the problem of affordability.

CONSUMER PRICES, GAS PRICES, AND HOUSING COSTS ARE HISTORICALLY HIGH, WHILE WAGES HAVE NOT KEPT PACE. WHAT IS YOUR PLAN TO HELP NEVADANS WHO ARE STRUGGLING FINANCIALLY?

The Federal Government has caused inflation with astronomical debt, money printing, regulations and excessive taxation. The war with Iran has caused gas and diesel prices to soar. This has created a cost crisis for consumers. If we are honest there are no easy solutions. The government, especially the federal government is out of control. We must elect individuals who will oppose excessive government spending, money printing which lowers the buying power of our dollars and excessive taxation.

WHERE DO YOU STAND ON THE RAPID DEVELOPMENT OF AI, AND THE PROLIFERATION OF DATA CENTERS? WHAT ROLE DO YOU SEE NEVADA TAKING IN EACH?

Nevada needs to pass a law like Florida to set perimeters to safeguard Nevadans from the excesses of data centers. We must make sure that our water, power and infrastructure are not put at risk by data centers. Taxpayers should not be subsidizing data centers with tax incentives. Companies who are developing Ai and Data Centers should be held accountable for their actions.
