Cal Fire says the Post Fire has grown to 14,625 acres. Crews have brought containment up to 2 percent.

400 personnel and 70 engines are assigned to this fire.

The cause is still being investigated.

Cal Fire says numerous firefighting air tankers from throughout the state of California are flying fire suppression missions.

Original Story, June 15:

A fire broke out in Southern California near I-5 in the city of Gorman, about 70 miles north of Los Angeles.

The Post Fire began around 1:45 p.m. on Saturday and is now over 3,600 acres, according to Cal Fire.

Evacuations are in place near Gorman, and structures are threatened.

According to the National Weather Service in Los Angeles, wind gusts could reach up to 60 miles per hour tonight after 10 p.m.
