Sparks Police have arrested 37-year-old Austin Brewer on 11 charges related to drug possession and sexual coercion of underaged girls.
According to probable cause documents filed in Reno Justice Court, Brewer allegedly sent explicit texts and photos to teenage girls, who contacted him after he left his phone number written in sidewalk chalk at a park.
Undercover detectives with the regional Human Exploitation and Trafficking team contacted Brewer online, posing as a 15-year-old girl, and arranged to meet him at a grocery store. When he arrived, detectives arrested him.
Sparks police say they found what they believe to be fentanyl in his pocket.
Brewer's charges include luring a child, attempted kidnapping, attempted sexual assault against a child, child abuse, and possession of a controlled substance.
