The priority deadline is now March 29.

Brian Sandoval, the president of the University of Nevada, Reno, announced on Tuesday that the deadline for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) will be extended.
The new priority application deadline is March 15.
This extension follows the FAFSA Simplification Act that was passed in Congress recently.
The new act aims to streamline the application process and expand eligibility for federal student aid. However, the change has also caused challenges and frustration for some students and families.
The university's Financial Aid Office is also offering help to anyone in need of support or clarification.
