Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says a pilot stabbed another pilot during a flight from the United Arab Emirates to Israel and then apparently tried to crash the plane. Passengers and crew subdued the attacker, and the plane made a safe emergency landing in Saudi Arabia. Passengers were heading back to Israel on Wednesday night. The FlyDubai flight issued an emergency alert and abruptly descended thousands of feet as people screamed. Israel scrambled warplanes amid concerns about a possible hijacking. Netanyahu said that Saudi Arabia had arrested a pilot of the flight. It was not clear what had motivated the attack.
