Russia is continuing its missile and drone attacks on Kyiv and surrounding areas, killing four people, including a child. Officials say Moscow targeted the power grid and a key internet exchange point. This escalation since late August puts pressure on Ukraine as winter approaches. Ukrainian officials report Moscow isn't engaging with U.S. efforts to halt the fighting. Russia demands a comprehensive settlement, including Ukraine surrendering land, which Kyiv finds unacceptable. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says Russian attacks are focusing on energy infrastructure.
