Nevada Highway Patrol has reopened I-80 east near Sparks Blvd. after an injury crash early Tuesday morning.
Officials say a woman driving a compact car hit the outside freeway wall, bounced to the inside wall, then stopped in the middle of the road.
Her car was then hit by a minivan and she was ejected from her car.
She was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the minivan was not hurt.
