NV Energy rates will be dropping in October for some northern Nevada customers.
Effective October 1st, NV Energy says homes that use 750 kilowatt hours a month will see their bills drop by about $2, or 2.5%.
NV Energy says the savings come from offering more renewable energy, and energy efficient services to customers.
