Outage In Truckee Area Leaves Over 1,300 Without Power

NV Energy reports that more than 4,000 customers across the area are currently without power.

The biggest outages are located in the zip codes of 89704 & 89521, Washoe Valley and the Virginia City Highlands. 

Both outages started just after 12:45 p.m. on Tuesday.

The cause remains under investigation. 

Power restoration is expected by 3 p.m.
