UPDATE: The Reno City Council passed a motion unanimously on Wednesday to move the seasonal ice rink at Greater Nevada Field.
Come the winter season, it will be moved to the Harrah's Reno Hotel and Casino property.

The Reno City Council will consider a request by the Reno Aces to end its agreement concerning the seasonal ice rink at Greater Nevada Field.
Earlier this month the Reno Aces Baseball Club sent a letter to Mayor Hillary Schieve and council stating that “SK Baseball Management, LLC will not seek renewal of our contract with the City of Reno on a seasonal ice rink.”
The group requests “early termination of the agreement” starting April 24, 2019, the same date of the Reno City Council meeting.
The Aces started hosting the ice rink five years ago after it moved from its previous downtown Reno location at the current Reno City Plaza.
