Reno Police officers say they have interviewed the people involved in last month's deadly fight inside the LEX Nightclub at the Grand Sierra Resort.
Police tell Channel 2 News that no one is currently in custody, but they add pending the result of their investigation and autopsy results on 21-year-old Jesus Castillo, the case could then be forwarded to the Washoe County District Attorney's Office for possible charges. Police say no additional people are outstanding.
Police say the unidentified man punched Castillo in the face during a fight on the LEX dance floor on Sunday, January 25th around 2:30 a.m. Castillo was knocked to the ground, and police say that's when the suspect left the scene.
Castillo was taken to Renown Regional Medical Center where he died a few days later.
His family has set up an account called the ‘Jesus Castillo Benefit Memorial Fund.' To help, go to any Wells Fargo bank and ask for the account by name. Wells Fargo customers can also go online to make a donation.
Family members say “Chuy” Castillo attended the University of Nevada and worked with the University's athletics department.
