Reno-Tahoe International Airport says United Airlines will now offer daily, year-round non-stop flights between RNO and Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH).
The expanded service will be operated by United Express on an Embraer 175 aircraft with 76 seats.
Currently it is scheduled to depart from Houston Friday night at 7:40 p.m. central time and arrive in Reno at 9:59 p.m. local.
The flight is then set to depart from Reno again at 11:59 p.m. and arrive in Houston the next day, at 5:34 a.m.
Not only will this allow travelers more options to go to Houston, it will provide connections to the Caribbean, Mexico, Central and South America, and the eastern United States.
The new flight is on sale today at www.united.com. This month, the airline says they plan on adding 131 total roundtrip flights at Reno.
