The Lyon County Sheriff's Traffic Enforcement Team (STET) conducted saturation patrols Friday along the Ramsey-Weeks Cutoff in Silver Springs.Â
Deputies say the average speed clocked in the 45 mile per hour zone was 60 to 65 mph.
During the operation, deputies made 43 traffic stops and issued 21 speeding citation. One citation was for a suspended license, one for registration violation, and one was for disobeying a traffic control device.
There were also additional warnings for non-traffic related infractions.
