President Trump will hold his rally at the Minden-Tahoe Airport on September 12, 2020.
Douglas County officials say the Secret Service worked with the county and implemented a variety of safeguards to protect the public, including thermometer screenings and encouraging the use of masks to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.Â
As of Friday September 11, 2020 there have been a total of 268 cases in Douglas County since March with 12 of them currently active. Douglas County has a population of 49,000.
The following roads will be closed beginning at 12pm:
- Heybourne and Firebrand Road
- Heybourne and park place
- Heybourne and Meridian
- Traffic Information:
- No private motor vehicle access to the Airport.
- Expect traffic delays on Highway 395 both north and south directions
- Heybourne and Johnson Lane
- Johnson lane and Highway 395

Parking location is 2300 US Highway 395 N
Gates are scheduled to open at 4:00 p.m. and the president will address the crowds at 7:00 p.m..
No onsite parking or onsite ticket purchase is available
Shuttles will be available to transport the public to and from the event venue
