While residents are welcome to keep their sandbags if they can use them, with the Truckee river receding below flood status, the City of Sparks has established some drop off locations:Â
- 855 Linda Way
- Larkin Circle (Next to Pick-n-Pull)
- Spice Island Drive (by Cottonwood Park)
- Shadow Mountain Park – north lot (Sparks Boulevard)
- Corner of Kresge and Watson (behind former K-Mart Distribution Center)
Sparks says that by returning the sandbags they can ensure they're properly disposed over.Â
